VIP Collectors' Program | Art & Champagne: a unique journey in Paris and Champagne
A three-day collectors' event in October, where art inspires and flavours indulge.
If you'd like to visit Paris' exciting ateliers, take a guided tour of one of the largest contemporary art fairs and discover the world's leading champagne house, join us in October.
On 23 October, a truly unique program awaits us: we will have a private visit to Atelier Cruz-Diez, where the kinetic and optical art of the Venezuelan-born Carlos Cruz-Diez comes to life. The private visit will be organised in two small groups. Following the studio visit, we planned a surprise program, the details of which will be confirmed later.
On 24 October, we will visit the Art Basel Paris fair where the biggest international artists and galleries of contemporary art will line up in Grand Palais. During a private guided tour, we will meet the leaders of the biggest galleries, get a behind-the-scenes look at the fair, learn about the works on display and get an exciting view of the contemporary art scene.
Then, when we've had our time in the world of art, we're off to Champagne on 25 October. In Reims, the renowned Taittinger Champagne house will welcome us with a private tour and lunch.
First, we will have a delicious three-course lunch at the Polychrome restaurant. By pairing the flavours proposed in the menu designed by chef Charles Coulombeau with Taittinger champagnes, each guest will be introduced to the art of the perfect match. Afterwards, our visit will begin with a guided tour of the 4th century Gallo-Roman chalkpits and cellars certified as a UNESCO World heritage site, and the remains of the 13th century St Nicaise Abbey. We will then explore the creation of the Comtes de Champagne cuvées and have a tasting in one of the private tasting rooms: Brut Reserve, Preludes Grands Crus and our Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs with a more in-depth presentation.
You will then be able to explore Reims and its sights individually, such as the Notre Dame Cathedral in Reims, the Musée Automobile or other champagne houses.
